Master of Arts in Humanities

Master of Arts in Humanities

The MA in Humanities provides students with in-depth study in two of three areas: History, English, or Creative Practice. That flexibility allows students to pursue their passions and to explore more deeply subjects that capture their interests.

Students choose two concentrations, completing eighteen hours in each area for a total of thirty-six hours. Successful graduates can take advantage of pay incentives for Masters degrees in the education field and are eligible to offer Dual Enrollment credit and teach at the college undergraduate level in both areas of concentration. Graduates will also appreciate the depth of knowledge that comes with intensive study and improved communication skills necessary at the graduate level.
